All You Need is Love: All You Need is Love

Ladies and Gentlemen, John Lennon got it absolutely spot on when he wrote the lyrics to the famous Beatles hit "All you need is Love". At the time the Beatles manager Brain Epstein said "It was an inspired song and they really wanted to give the world a message." John Lennon considered himself a revolutionary artist who dedicated his art to showing people a path for change. A path that is as valid and as thought provoking today as it was in the 1960's

The Path to Enlightenment

Within all of us are questions that all the worlds best scientists cannot answer. Questions like what am I, why am I here and what is my life's purpose? After a lot of searching, and that searching still goes on, the answer that I am happiest with is love. Budda said that the path to enlightenment is the path which leads to yourself. This would indicate, as I believe that the answer has been hidden away inside yourself all this time. If you can find time to love yourself, you will find your way, your peace, your happiness, I promise you.

What Science Says

It wasn't until Greek Astronomer, Eratosthenes conducted experiments and took measurements in Alexandria that people thought the world was round. Even in 1482 the sailor who went with Columbus were worried that they would sail off the end of the world! But then look what happened. As more people became aware of these new thoughts, more evidence was gathered to prove it correct.

Great scientific study had gone into the atom, the building blocks of all life. At first it was thought that the atom was solid, then as we looked deeper we discovered that the atom is mainly space, a small solid nucleus, surrounded by electrons. Now we know that even the nucleus of the atom is more space than it is matter. There is a lot of space.

Space is empty a big void isn't it? Well we used to think that, now with powerful telescopes attached to satellites we see more and more stars, more and more Galaxies and scientists have calculated that the universe is still expanding.

Conventional thinking is only conventional in a specific time. Can an object appear in two places at once? Of course not, err, well actually it can! Scientists now know that this is true and that electrons disappear and the reappear all the time. Amazing isn't it?

What of Love and Thought

There is a movement, a body of people that believe that it is our thoughts that create things. We look for Galaxies, more appear, we look at the building blocks of matter and like peeling an onion more and more detail is revealed. How powerful are thoughts? As an example there is a Doctor called Dr Hew Len. He was based at a secure mental hospital for the criminally insane in Hawaii. This doctor never met any of his patients. He read their files and simply sent out thoughts of love, forgiveness and gratitude to himself and to the patients. Every patient was cured, the ward he was working on closed, that is how successful he was.

So thoughts, your thoughts are very powerful, they create your world. I believe your thoughts and everyone else's fill the spaces between matter with their energy waves.

Your journey to enlightenment begins with understanding that feelings of love and happiness come from within and cannot be produced by having a bigger house or a better car. Once you "get it", then you can direct your thought more productively. Think of yourself and think of love, imagine your family and friends send thought of love and thanks to them. You will be amazed how love changes everything.
